    Shawarma planet is awesome, and run by the nicest man ever! The quality of food here is superior to any other shawarma I have tried in the Ottawa area. All of the ingredients are fresh, and they use just the right amount of garlic sauce. They have pickled turnips and tabouleh which is a plus, because not all shawarma places have those items. The service is fast, efficient, and the interior is super clean.

    We came here for lunch on my boyfriend's birthday and the owner gave him baklava on the house! Such a great guy.

    I can't wait to come back and try the avocado smoothie!

    Stumbled upon this restaurant after signing up for just-eat to get this delivered. We were presently surprised!

    We got Got a chicken shawarama plate and a mixed sandwich. The sandwich was tasty (I got the small size and yes - it was small), the salad was tasty (I love the dressing they use and the pieces of "crackers" in there) and the plate was not bad. My only complaint was the that the potatoes were too dry but the rice was good. The chicken was also a bit on the dryer side but still tasty.

    Overall, I'd order again from here. The quality of the food was better than other restaurants I've tried for shawarma and the quantity for the price was fair.

    Saturday, noon, probably not the best time to go. Oven wasn't on yet so they couldn't heat up the shawarma. The potatoes were definitely from yesterday and were cold so they had to microwave them. Unless there's nothing else in the area, I probably won't be going here again.

    Shared a chicken shawarma platter and a falafel wrap. Both were pretty dam good. I didn't expect too much when I went in as it was 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. The staff were one of the friendliest I had come by that insisted on making fresh hummas (even though they were about to close shortly).

    The chicken shawarma platter came with rice, salad, potatoes, pita bread, tzatziky, and another sauce I don't remember.   The chicken tasted great and went well with the sauces. The potatoes were soft yet firm in a way that worked for them.

    Will definitely go there again.

    I've been coming here ever since it opened a couple of years ago, since I work nearby, The service and food has been consistently great. The portion sizes are large, and the prices comparable to other shawarma places.
